Korea is home to 12 UNESCO Heritage sites including lava caves, neolithic tombs, observatories and authentically preserved folk villages. The country’s long and storied past is also reflected in historic fortresses, temples and palaces. Modern Korean artists also greatly contribute to the country’s vibrant culture, art, design, and architecture. One place to experience this is Insadong in Seoul where tradition, culture, and art mingle.

When in Korea, it’s a must to experience the Hallyu, or the “Korean Wave”, which has grown internationally to become a major driver of Korean culture globally, encompassing Korean dramas, Korean skincare regimens, and of course at the heart of it all, K-Pop or Korean pop music.
